Throughout his career, Mr. Cahill has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility including senior vice president of Global Business Development & Strategy; vice president Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD); vice president of Engineering and Technology and vice president and general manager of Strategic and Missile Defense Systems, where he was responsible for more than 4,000 employees in the U.S., U.K., and Marshall Islands. Mr. Cahill joined Lockheed Martin in 1995, following a distinguished career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he managed the integration and launch of 20 military, NASA and classified spacecraft on Space Shuttle, Titan and Atlas launch vehicles. He holds a patent for a modular spacecraft bus design.

Mr. Cahill holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Stanford University. He also completed the Executive Program Manager’s Course at the Defense Systems Management College at Ft. Belvoir, Va. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of the U.S. Army.
