About LRASM

  • As a precise, stealthy and survivable cruise missile, LRASM provides multi-service, multi-platform and multi-mission capabilities for offensive anti-surface warfare.

  • With a multi-modal sensor suite and weapons data link, LRASM is designed to engage pre-determined targets through highly contested environments at significant standoff range.

  • By leveraging Lockheed Martin’s expertise in successful cruise missile productions, LRASM brings low-risk and long-term, flexible capabilities to the warfighters’ anti-surface warfare environment that no other inventory weapon provides.

  • In support of the U.S. Navy’s ‘Distributed Lethality’ concept, Lockheed Martin has invested in the continued design and development of LRASM’s next-generation anti-surface warfare capabilities to include surface-launched variants.

  • In addition to LRASM’s proven vertical launch system (VLS) variant, Lockheed Martin has invested in the design of a Topside (or deck-mounted) launcher configuration for integration on multiple surface ships, as well as a mobile-launcher variant, providing forward based ground forces an anti-surface weapon capability.

  • LRASM C-3 is a new variant for the U.S. Navy, with increased technology and range capabilities.

  • LRASM C-3's updated sensor package is the key to the future growth of our anti-surface warfare system.

  • LRASM C-3 provides a secured data link to keep warfighters out of harm’s way.
